Identifying a device (Identify)
When you click the [Identify] button or right-click a device icon and choose [Identify], an indicator or a display
will blink on the corresponding device itself.
Viewing device information (Device Information)
When you right-click and choose [Device Information] from the context menu, the “Device Information” dialog
box will appear, listing information about the devices connected in the workspace. For details, refer to the main
panel window’s “Device Information” (page 49).
Various settings for devices (Utility)
When you right-click a device’s icon and choose [Utility] from the context menu that appears, the “Utility...” dia-
log box will appear (page 76). Here you can make various settings for a device.
When offline, these are for display only.
Alert message settings (Alert Setup)
When you right-click a device’s icon and choose [Alert Setup] from the context menu that appears, the “Alert
Setup” dialog box will appear (page 55). Here you can enable/disable alert messages and specify their types for
each device. Alert messages can be viewed and saved in the event log, and are used as trigger signals when a fault
occurs.
Detecting devices (Update)
From the context menu that appears when you right-click, choose [Update]; the devices connected to the network
will be detected and shown in the Tree View window.
