Configuring the advanced settings (ADVANCED SETUP menu)
Basic operation of the ADVANCED SETUP menu
Perform the following basic procedure to operate the “ADVANCED SETUP” menu while
viewing the front display.

Set the unit to standby mode.

While holding down STRAIGHT on the front panel, press
z (power).

STRAIGHTPROGRAM
The top item and its setting of the “ADVANCED SETUP” menu appear on
the front display.

Press PROGRAM to select an item.

Press STRAIGHT to select a setting.

Press z (power) to set the unit to standby mode and turn it on
again.
This completes the settings.

ADVANCED SETUP menu items
Use the following table to configure system settings of the unit.

SP IMP.
(U.S.A. and Canada models only)
Changes the speaker impedance setting.

REMOTE ID Selects the unit’s remote control ID. p.106

Changes the FM/AM tuning frequency setting.

TV FORMAT Switches the video signal type of HDMI output. p.106
4K MODE Selects the HDMI 4K signal format. p.107
DTS MODE
Selects the information to be sent to the BD player connected to
the unit about the DTS formats that the unit supports.

BKUP/RSTR Backups and restores all the settings for the unit. p.108
INIT Restores the default settings. p.109
UPDATE Updates the firmware. p.109
VERSION Checks the version of firmware currently installed on the unit. p.109
