8 Connect the pocket tester (DC 20 V) to the
headlight and high beam indicator light cou-
plers as shown.

8 Set the main switch to “ON”.
8 Set the engine stop switch to “#”.
8 Start the engine.
8 Set the dimmer switch to “%” or “&”.
8 Measure the voltage (DC 12 V) of y
ellow 1
or green 3 on the headlight coupler (wire
harness side) and yellow 5 on the meter
assembly coupler (wire harness side).
8 Is the voltage within specification?
