Port
Selects the MIDI port to be used for DAW controller or transmitting/receiving program change/
control change/parameter change messages.
DAW Type
Selects the DAW type when a DAW controller is to be used.
The following choices are in the list: [Off], [Type1], and [Type2].
OFF: Select “OFF” when this function is not to be used.
Type1: Use this setting when a general purpose ProTools controller (HUI protocol) is to be
connected.
Type2: Use this setting when a general purpose Logic or Cubase controller (Mackie control
protocol) is to be connected.
MIDI Channel
Sets the MIDI channel. This number is also used as the Parameter Change Device ID.
[Tx]
Select the MIDI transmit channel from the list.
[Rx]
Select the MIDI receive channel from the list.
NOTE
Can only be selected when the DME unit selected in the Device List is running firmware version V3.5 or earlier.
NOTE
Does not apply to SP2060 and ICP1 units.
NOTE
Only USB x-2 is available on DME Satellite.
