The throttle cable replacement procedures differ
between the two affected models. GP1300 proce-

GP1300
The following service procedure for the GP1300
appears lengthy, but it involves four basic jobs:
• Exhaust System Removal
• Intake Silencer Removal
• Throttle Cable Replacement
• Reassembly
For details, refer to the GP1300R Service Manual
(LIT-18616-GP-00).
To protect the watercraft from scratches, cover
the area around the engine compartment with a
clean cloth. Be sure to lift components out care-
fully as they are removed to avoid damage to the
deck or hull.
CAUTION:
