Installation Guide
Amp Editor is software that allows network-compatible amplifiers (such as the TX4n/5n/6n), amp control devices (e.g., the
ACD1), and compatible amplifiers connected to amp control devices to be assembled into a system, monitored, and con-
trolled from a computer.

The Minimum System Requirements described above are applied to the Amp Editor version 1.1.0. You can check
the latest version information of each program and its system requirements at the following URL.

The system requirements may differ slightly depending on the particular computer.
1. Download the Amp Editor from the following URL.
http://www.yamahaproaudio.com/
Log on to the Administrator account.
2. Extract the data from the downloaded compressed file and open the “Amp Editor Installer V*.*.*”
folder.
“*.*.*” represents the version number.
3. Double-click “setup.exe.
A setup dialog of Amp Editor is displayed.
If the “User Account Control” window appears after clicking “Locate and install driver software (recom-
mended),” click [Continue].
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
During the installation procedure, a dialog box appears to confirm whether or not you wish to install the
Speaker Processor Library items for the third party speakers.
When installation is completed, set up your computer and equipment as described in the Amp Editor
owner’s manual. For details on setting up the ACD1 and Amp Editor, refer to the “Amp Editor Owner’s
Manual.
