Cleaning the air fi lter check hoses
1. Check the hoses on the front and
rear side of the air filter case for
accumulated dirt or water.

2. If dirt or water is visible, remove
the hoses, clean them, and then
install them.
Cleaning the V-belt case air filter
element
1. Remove the V-belt air filter case
cover by removing the screws.

2. Remove the fi lter element holder
by removing the screw.

1. Air fi lter element holder
3. Pull the air fi lter element out, and
then clean it with solvent. After
cleaning, remove the remain-
ing solvent by squeezing the
element. WARNING! Use only a
dedicated parts cleaning sol-
vent. To avoid the risk of fi re or
explosion, do not use gasoline
or solvents with a low flash
point.

damaging the air fi lter element,
handle it gently and carefully,
and do not twist it.[ECA10521]

1. V-belt case air fi lter element
4. Apply oil of the recommended
type to the entire surface of
the sponge material, and then
squeeze the excess oil out.
