Universal Serial
Bus Ports
The two Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports comply with
USB Serial 2.0 standards, which enables data transfer
speeds 40 times faster than the USB 1.1 standards. (The
ports also support USB 1.1)
Optical Media
Drive
A CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive, DVD Super Multi drive.
Modem jack In areas where an internal modem is installed as stan-
dard equipment, there is a modem jack that lets you use
a modular cable to connect the modem directly to a tele-
phone line. The modem is not supported in some mar-
keting regions.(Provided with some models)
Security lock slot A security cable attaches to this slot. The optional secu-
rity cable anchors your computer to a desk or other large
object to deter theft.
DC IN 19V The AC adaptor connects to this socket. Use only the
model of AC adaptor that comes with the computer.
Using the wrong adaptor can damage your computer.
