INSTALLING THE STARTER CLUTCH
1. Install:
• idle gear
• starter clutch
• collar
• roller
• starter wheel gear
• washer
• starter clutch nut®
\| 90 Nm (9.0 m * kg, 65.1 ft * lb)
NOTE:
The starter clutch nut is left-hand thread.
2. Install:
• gasket New
• crankcase cover (right)©
XI 10 Nm (1.0 m * kg, 7.2 ft * lb)

INSTALLING THE AC MAGNETO
1. Install:
8stator coil assembly1
8crankshaft position sensor2
8woodruff key3
8AC magneto rotor
8washer
8AC magneto rotor nut
NOTE:
8 Clean the tapered portion of the crankshaft
and the AC magneto rotor hub.
8 When installing the AC magneto rotor, make
sure the woodruff key is properly seated in
the keyway of the crankshaft.
