“Calibration by Pilot Tone” dialog box
In the “Calibration by Pilot Tone” dialog box, the values other than Detection Interval Time in the [Output
Signal Chain Check] tab using the pilot tone.
• To complete measurement, it may take about 120 seconds at longest.
• Be aware that the speaker outputs a powerful bass sound or high-pitched sound.
• Depending on the character of the speaker, it may be not properly measured.
• If the output level is lowered by the attenuator, it may be not properly measured.
q [Frequency Type]
Indicates the combination of low-frequency component (5Hz or 0Hz) and high-frequency component
(20kHz) of the pilot tone. Normally, select the combination of “10Hz (Low) & 20KHz (High).”
w Check box
Specifies the frequency component of the pilot tone that is output to each channel.
If an HF driver is installed in the connected speaker, do not select Low Frequency Tone. The driver might be
damaged due to the low-frequency component since the pilot tone is added after the Speaker Processor.
e [Calibration Start] button
Click this button to start calibration of the impedance value of the speaker connected to each channel and the
lower threshold value of the level.
