TIP
• Do not remove the fast idle plunger.
• If fault codes 16 and 37 are indicated simultaneously, take the actions specified for fault code 16
first.
• If fault codes 37 and 42 are indicated simultaneously, take the actions specified for fault code 42
first.
• If fault codes 37 and 46 are indicated simultaneously, take the actions specified for fault code 46
first.
2 Throttle valve does not fully
close.
• Check the throttle body.

• Check the throttle cables.

Start and idle the engine for
approximately 10 seconds.
