SELF-DIAGNOSIS FAULT CODE INDICATION
When a system malfunction occurs, the fault code number is indicated in the LCD display of the
meter assembly and the immobilizer system indicator light flashes at the same time. The pattern of
flashing also shows the fault code.

Code cannot be
transmitted between
the key and the
immobilizer unit.
1. Radio wave interfer-
ence caused by
objects around the
keys and antennas.
2. Immobilizer unit mal-

1. Keep magnets,
metal objects,
and other immo-
bilizer system
keys away from
the keys and
antennas.
2. Replace the
main switch/
immobilizer unit.
3. Replace the key.

Codes between the
key and immobilizer
unit do not match.
1. Signal received from
other transponder
(failed to recognize
code after ten con-
secutive attempts).
