b. Measure the ABS ECU voltage.

6. Check:
ABS-ECU-to-start-switch-lead continuity
No continuity Replace or repair the
wire harness.
▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼
a. Connect the digital circuit tester to the ABS
ECU coupler and right handlebar switch
coupler.
b. Check for continuity between the ABS ECU
and the start switch lead.

7. Check:
ABS ECU voltage
Out of specification Replace the right
handlebar switch.
▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼
a. Connect the digital circuit tester (DC 12 V)
to the ABS ECU coupler.
b. Push the start switch.
c. Measure the ABS ECU voltage.

8. If the above-mentioned checks are within
specification, replace the hydraulic unit
assembly.
Continuity is all right.
