Ifthebearingsallowplayinthewheelhuborifwheel
doesnotturnsmoothly,replacethebearings
as
follows:
1.Cleantheoutsideofthe
-
wheel hub.
2.
Drivethebearing
out
bypushingthespacer
asideandtapping around theperimeterofthe
bearing inner racewith
a
softmetaldriftpin
andhammer.Thespacer
"
floats
"
betweenthe
bearings.Bothbearingscanberemovedinthis
manner.
3.
To
installthewheelbearing,reversetheabove
sequence.
Be
sure
to
greasethebearingbefore
installation.Use
a
socketthatmatchesthe
outsideraceofthebearing
as
a
tool to drive
inthebearing.

A.Removal
1.Placemachineoncenter stand.
2.
Raise
the
seat.
Unscrewrearfenderinstallation
boltsuntiltheirthreadedportion
iscompletely
out.Raisefender.Reinsertboltsas stoppers
to
supportraised fender.
thecenterraceor
ballsof thebearing.Contactshouldbemade
onlywiththeouterrace.
E.InstallingFrontWheel
Wheninstallingfrontwheel,reversetheremovalpro
-
cedure.
Note
the following points:
1.
Lightlygreaselipsoffrontwheeloil
seals
and
gear
teethofspeedometerdriveanddriven
gears. Use lightweightlithiumsoapbasegrease.
2.
Makesurethere
is
enoughgapbetweendisc
pads.
3.
Checkforproperengagementofthebosson
theouterforktubewiththelocating
slot
on
speedometergearunithousing.
4. Alwayssecurethefrontwheelaxle as follows:
a.
Tightenthefrontaxlenut.
Axle nut torque:

b.Tightenaxleholdernuts.Firsttightennuton
frontendofaxleholder,then tighten nuton
rear end.

Holdernuttorque:
I
1.1~1.8m

kg(8.0~13.0ft-lb)
c.Install
a
newcotterpin.
3.
Removethemufflerprotector.
4.
Removetheaxlenutcotterpinandtheaxle
nut.
5.
Loosen
the
rearaxlepinchbolt.
6.
Whilesupportingthebrake caliper, pull
out
therearaxle.
7.
Holdupthebrake caliper assembly and place
it
onthehookoftherear arm.
8.
Movethewheel
to
therightside
to
separate
it
fromthefinalgear case andremovethe
rear
wheel.
