Wheninstallingnewbearings,grease
liberallywithlithiumbase,waterproof
wheel
bearing
grease.

seals
whenbearings
are
removed.

Examinerubberbootfordamage.Replace
if
damaged.

Installationofthe swing arm canbe accomplished by
reversingtheremoval procedure. Observeadjustment
proceduresforobtainingequal arm

Removal
1.Remove one
rear
shockabsorber
at
a
time,
inspectandreinstallbeforeremoving
the other.

If
it
isbentordamaged,replace
theshock absorber.
Checkforoilleakage.
If
oilleakage
is
evident,
replacetheshock absorber.
Operate shock absorber rodtocheckdamping.
There benonoticeable damping
as
shock extends.
Installtheshockabsorberonthemachine.
