6. Pull out the element.
7. Remove the element from its guide and
clean it with solvent. After cleaning, re-
move the remaining solvent by squeez-
ing the element.

8. Apply recommended oil to the entire sur-
face of the filter and squeeze out the ex-
cess oil. The element should be wet but
not dripping.
9. Install by reversing the removal proce-
dures.

CAUTION:
Make sure the element is properly seated
in the filter case.
Recommended oil:
SAE 10W30 type SE motor oil
