Coolant temperature warning light

Coolant temperature warning light checking method
Turn the main switch “ON” and the
engine stop switch to “RUN”.
Coolant temperature warning
light does not come on.
Coolant temperature warning
light comes on.
Push start switch with transmission
in “neutral”.
Coolant temperature
warning light comes on
momentarily.
Coolant temperature warning
light does not come on.
Check the electrical circuit. Refer to
“SIGNAL SYSTEM” in chapter 8.
Coolant temperature and
electrical circuit are OK.
Go ahead with riding.
