AUDIO SELECT (Audio select)
Use this feature if your player/tuner connected to one of
the HDMI jacks on this unit outputs multi-channel audio
source in 2-channel. Connect the optical and/or coaxial
digital output jack(s) on your player to the corresponding
digital input jack(s) on this unit in addition to the HDMI
connection, and then set "AUDIO SELECT" to "OFF".
The multi-channel signal goes through the digital jack and
is output from this unit in multi-channel.

The video signal input at one of the HDM[jacks is output at the
HDM[ OUT jack, regardless of the AUDIO SELECT setting.
The AUDIO SELECT setting is applied only to the sound
output fl'om this unit. It is invalid when the sound is output fl'om
the device connected to the HDM[ OUT jacks.
VIDEO INFO. (Video information)
Use to display the video information of the current input
signal.
Choices: HDMI RES., HDMI ERROR
HDMI CONTROL (HDMI control)
Use this function to link this unit and an HDMI control-
compatible TV via HDMI. You can turn on or off the
power, select the input mode, and adjust the volume level
of this unit using the remote control supplied with your
HDMI control-compatible TV. For details, see "Using the
HDMI control feature" on page 57.

Select ON to enable the HDMI control.
Select OFF to disable the HDMI control.
When "HDMI CONTROL" is set to "ON", the amount
of power consumption in the standby mode is increase.
When HDM[ CONTROL is set to OFF and this unit is in the
standby mode, the signals input at the HDM[ IN jacks are not
output at the HDM[ OUT jack.
In order for the HDM[ control function to work properly, we
recommend that the devices connected using the HDM[ jacks
(TV, DVD recorder, Blu-ray recorder, etc.) be of the same make.

Select HDMI RES. to display the resolution of the
HDMI input/output signals.
Select HDMI ERROR to display the error message for
HDMI sources or devices connected
(see page 84 for details).
