Our hardware cloth is designed
with a ½” square mesh making a
very versatile product which can
be used in a wide variety of appli-
cations. It is great for gutter
guards, animal control, tomato
cages, tree guards, gardening
crafts and so much more.
• Smaller animals need a place to feel safe
and protected from larger animals. Our hard-
ware cloth can make an excellent enclosure
for your rabbits, chickens, and birds. With just
a few tools, you can construct a wooden frame
enclosure and wrap the wire around it. Dig
around the perimeter and lay the wire down in
the ground so larger animals can’t dig under
it. Replace the dirt and compact it.
• This wire is perfect for protecting young
trees by creating a barrier circle around the
tree to keep animals from eating the bark and
damaging it.
• An inexpensive way to stop all those leaves
from entering your gutters too! This wire when
cut to size creates a barrier that doesn’t allow
leaves and debris to clog up your gutters!
• You can also use this underneath sod to
keep rodents from digging up through it and
creating dead spots in your grass!
