Pre-assembled
dormer truss
with2gussets
Secure truss to top plate with one 3" screw from under dormer frame and back wall top plate (Fig.E,F).
Continue securing rafter to top plate with two 3" screws above notch (Fig.E,F).

Rest rst truss on dormer frame and back wall top plate. Align truss over back wall stud and at 13-1/2"
measurement from outside of rafter. Ensure rafter notch is tight to side wall (Fig.D,FigG).
Rest middle truss on dormer frame and back wall top plate. Align truss over back wall stud and at
37-1/2"measurement from outside of rafter. Ensure truss notch is tight to side wall (Fig.E,FigF).
Repeat Steps 11-13 to install third truss (Fig.D,Fig.G).
