Do not use on or near any unimproved, forest covered, or brush covered land unless the exhaust system is equipped with a spark arrester meeting applicable local, state, or federal laws. In the state of California, a spark arrester is required by law. Other states have similar laws. A spark arrester, if used, must be maintained in effective working order by the operator.

STORAGE If your chipper shredder will not be used for more than 30 days, follow the steps below to prepare your unit for storage : 1. Drain the fuel tank completely. Do not use strong detergents or petroleum based cleaners when cleaning plastic parts. Chemicals can damage plastics. 2. Start the engine and allow it to run until it stops.
