A warning label is displayed on the front cover of the braking unit. Follow these instructions when
handling the braking unit.
WARNING
• Do not touch any circuitry components while the main AC power is on. In addition, you must wait
until the red “CHARGE” LED is out before performing any service on that unit. It may take as
long as 10 minutes for the charge on the main DC bus capacitors to drop to a safe level.
• Do not check signals during operation.
• Make sure the unit is set for the appropriate voltage.
• Make sure to ground the ground terminal.
• Failure to observe these warnings can result in electrical shock.
