Service Information
Please note that this device should only be serviced by those authorized and specifically trained to
ensure adequate servicing techniques.
Warranty Statement
The manufacturer grants a two (2) year warranty period for its products from the day the product has
been originally delivered. This limitation does not apply to state law warranties. The warranty covers
structural, production and material faults. Purchased products are warranted to be free from material
defects or defects caused by workmanship. Please note that the warranty does not extend to parts
that have gotten lost, discarded or damaged by misuse, accidents, inadequate operation or
maintenance or use of the product that violates the provided instructions in the manual or other
indicators such as stickers etc. Furthermore, the warranty does not extend to parts or the product if the
serial number has been removed or changed or where any other alterations without written permission
of the manufacturer took place.
The warranty is valid only if the product has been used in an environment that it has been specifically
designed for and if none of the above-mentioned exclusions of warranty take action. Users must
ensure they have followed the installation/user/maintenance manual accordingly.
If the device is conforming to this warranty, the manufacturer will primarily attempt to repair the product
either using new or remanufactured replacements for defective parts. The replacement parts are
warranted one additional (year) from the day they have been used in the repair. An attempt to
self-repair without written permission from the manufacturer will invalidate the warranty for the product.
To obtain warranty service please contact customer service. Further instructions on how to proceed in
specific repair or service cases will be instructed then.
The manufacturer will not reimburse potential work, travel or other indirect costs that may be
generated due to product defects. The customer will be required to arrange the shipment of the device
to the service center indicated by customer service and the return transportation. The customer will be
responsible to cover all related transportation charges. When sending the device to the service center
you must use the original cardboard box and packaging material or an equivalent. Please save the
original receipt for proof of purchase.
After the Warranty Period
Please contact customer service in case your device requires repairs after the warranty period has
expired. Please note that the customer will be required to arrange the shipment of the device to the
service center indicated by customer service and the return transportation. The customer will be
responsible to cover all related transportation charges such as shipping, insurance, etc.
The manufacturer does not authorize other companies, distributors, resellers, agents, dealers or other
persons to modify, change or extend the here stated warranty terms.
Afterimage Burn-in Prevention
Please do not leave the image running on a stationary image for an extended period of time. This may
cause afterimage burn-in or defective pixels. Use the power-saving mode or a dynamic screen saver
or power off the product to prevent afterimage burn.
Afterimage burn should not occur through normal operation. Normal operation refers to continuously
changing images on the screen. Stationary images for an extended period of time can cause a slight
voltage difference between electrodes in pixels that control liquid crystals. Such voltage differences
can increase over time and the liquid crystals become thinner. As a result, an image can remain on the
screen when the pattern changes. However, afterimage burn-in should not occur when the above
mentioned precautionary steps are taken.
