WhenthetransmittercontrolmodeissettoMode2(pleaseseethe‘TransmitterControlMode
Selection’sectionofthismanualformoreinformation),movingthelefthandsticktotheleftwillturn
(yaw)thenoseofthehelicoptertotheleftabouttheverticalaxis.Thisisaccomplishedbyincreasing
thespeedoftheupperrotorbladesanddecreasingthespeedofthelowerrotorblades.
Movingthesticktotherightwillturn(yaw)thenoseofthehelicoptertotherightaboutthevertical
axis.Thisisaccomplishedbyincreasingthespeedofthelowerrotorbladesanddecreasingthespeed
oftheupperrotorblades.
Theruddertrimlever(locatedimmediatelybelowthelefthandstickforMode2)canbeusedtohelp
keepthenoseofthehelicopterfromturning(yawing)totheleftorrightwhen‘hovering’andwithout
anylefthandstick/ruddercontrolinput.Forexample,ifthenoseofthehelicopterturnstotheright
whenhoveringaddleftruddertrimbypressingthelevertotheleftuntilthenoseofthehelicopter
staysascloseto‘straight’aspossiblewithnofurtherinput.
