WhenthetransmittercontrolmodeissettoMode2(pleaseseethe‘TransmitterControlMode
Selection’sectionofthismanualformoreinformation),movingtheleft‐handsticktotheleftwillturn
(yaw)thenoseofthehelicoptertotheleftabouttheverticalaxis.Thisisaccomplishedbyincreasing
thespeedoftheupperrotorbladesanddecreasingthespeedofthelowerrotorblades.
Movingthesticktotherightwillturn(yaw)thenoseofthehelicoptertotherightaboutthevertical
axis.Thisisaccomplishedbyincreasingthespeedofthelowerrotorbladesanddecreasingthespeed
oftheupperrotorblades.
Theruddertrimlever(locatedimmediatelybelowtheleft‐handstickforMode2)canbeusedtohelp
keepthenoseofthehelicopterfromturning(yawing)totheleftorrightwhen‘hovering’andwithout
anyleft‐handstick/ruddercontrolinput.Forexample,ifthenoseofthehelicopterturnstotheright
whenhoveringaddleftruddertrimbypressingthelevertotheleftuntilthenoseofthehelicopter
staysascloseto‘straight’aspossiblewithnofurtherinput.
