WhenthetransmittercontrolmodeissettoMode4(pleaseseethe‘TransmitterControlMode
Selection’sectionofthismanualformoreinformation),movingtheright‐handsticktotheleftwill
turn(yaw)thenoseofthehelicoptertotheleftabouttheverticalaxis.Thisisaccomplishedby
increasingthespeedoftheupperrotorbladesanddecreasingthespeedofthelowerrotorblades.
Movingthesticktotherightwillturn(yaw)thenoseofthehelicoptertotherightaboutthevertical
axis.Thisisaccomplishedbyincreasingthespeedofthelowerrotorbladesanddecreasingthespeed
oftheupperrotorblades.
Theruddertrimlever(locatedimmediatelybelowtheright‐handstickforMode4)canbeusedto
helpkeepthenoseofthehelicopterfromturning(yawing)totheleftorrightwhen‘hovering’
and
withoutanyright‐handstick/ruddercontrolinput.Forexample,ifthenoseofthehelicopterturnsto
therightwhenhoveringaddleftruddertrimbypressingthelevertotheleftuntilthenoseofthe
helicopterstaysascloseto‘straight’aspossiblewithnofurtherinput.
