Continuetopracticeuntilyou’recomfortablehoveringthehelicopteratapproximately 1824
incheshigh.Thenyoucantransitiontohoveringthehelicopterathigheraltitudesof
approximatelythreetofourfeet.
Ifatanytimeduringflightyoufeellikethehelicopterisdriftingoutof/beyondyour
control,
simplyreleaseallofthecontrolsexceptforthrottle.Throttlewillbeneededtomaintain
altitude,butduetotheinherentstabilityofthecoaxial,counterrotatingbladedesign,
releasingalloftheothercontrolswillallowthehelicoptertoreturntoastablehoveronits
own.
Don’tbeafraidtosetthehelicopterdownonthegroundquicklybyloweringthethrottle
stickabruptlywhenapproachingwallsorotherobstaclestohelppreventanimpact.
