An alarm is most commonly triggered when the value for an attribute is outside the predefined
limits. The following actions can be executed when an alarm is triggered:
 Add to Alarm Panel
 SMTP notification (e-mail)
 SNMP trap notification
 Raise an internal event (for advanced users)
