Low ambient temperature kit (ratiometric pres-
sure transducer) YLCA/YLHA 5 to 40, YLHA
PLUS 5 to 27
To adjust condensing pressure at low ambient temperatures
(down to -18° C).
Models 20, 27 and 40 units include this probe as standard
equipment.
The kit is comprised of:
1 ratiometric pressure transducer.
1 Packard connector.
1 three-way connector.
Attention: Install the kit with power supply to the
unit turned off.
Mounting the pressure transducer on the cooling cir-
cuit
Screw the ratiometric transducer on to the free Schrader
valve located in the suction/discharge pipe of the YLHA coil,
or in the liquid line (YLCA). Check for leaks.
Mounting the Packard connector
Connect the three Packard connector cables to the three-
way connector and at the regulator module in the order and
position indicated below.
Disconnection of probe B3
Disassemble and disconnect from the connecting strip of
probe B3 located in the coil (condensation/evaporation
control).
Replacing outdoor probe B4
Disconnect outdoor probe B4 from the top of the control
module and reconnect it to the same terminals probe B3
(GND-B3) was connected. With this change this probe be-
comes B3.
Connection the pressure transducer
Connect the pressure transducer to the same three-way con-
nector that B4 was connected to, which is located at the back
of the controller. Now the transducer becomes sensor B4.
