D. Installaon
Test your v i brao n sensor locaon b efore axing it to the surface. Use m asking o r
pa i nters tape to secure the sensor to the surface. Once you have the senso r tem p orarily
mo u nted, test i t out. Wit h the app in h a n d, vibrate t he detecon area w h ile obs e r vi n g
th e status of the sensor as shown on the app (V i brao n Detec ted or No Vibra o n
Dete c ted) . Oponally, you may set up your auto m aon (e.g. turn on a light on vibraon
detecon) to funconally test the v i b raon - pro c e e d to the foll o wing steps for
informaon on c reang a u tomaons, t hen return to t h is step
The vib ra on sen sor can be installed in several ways. It can be axed to the object via
3M mounng tape ( included), it can be m ounted to the object via screws (not included),
or it can be p laced in or on an object. Other method s may void the warranty (e. g. glue,
epoxy).

You can adjust the device s e n s i vity to re d u c e false a l e r ts. Dete r m i n e if th e sensivity
is too lo w or too high du r i n g your fu n c o n al test. If th e senso r trig gers false alerts, you
ca n redu c e the s e n s i v i t y. If t h e sensor d o e s not respond to a condion t h at s hould
trigger an alert, incre a s e th e se n sivity. A er adjusng t he s e n s i vity, always pe r fo rm
a f u n conal test.
The v i b raon sensor is not waterproof and is designed and intended only for indoor use
