Correct Insertion of You Tune Earplugs
In order to reduce risk of infection it is important that both of your hands and the hearing protection
are clean before insertion into ears.
If the foam tip is difcult to insert into the ear canal or feels uncomfortable, then try a smaller foam tip. It
is important that the foam tip seals correctly in order to achieve the certied attenuation. A tight seal ensures
the highest NRR and best sound quality from your earphones.
Slowly roll the Foam Insert
into a smaller cylinder. Try to
avoid creases in the foam.
Hold the earplug in your ear
for 15-30 seconds until the
foam fully expands.
Pull up and back on the top
of your ear and and insert the
corresponding Foam Tip and
Silicone Earplug into your ear.
Removing from your ears
Remove the hearing protection with
a slow twisting motion to gradually
break the seal with the ear canal.
This will reduce any discomfort that
be felt during removal.
