Parameter Description

Encryption Key This string is used as the key to encrypt

and decrypt the data transmitted. This

value must match the encryption key

value in the remote device.

Authentication Protocol The VPN Gateway supports two

authentication algorithms (MD5 & SHA-1).

Select an appropriate authentication

algorithm. The authentication algorithm

selected here must be the same as the

one in the remote device.

Authentication Key This string is used as the key

authentication. This value must match the

authentication key value in the remote

device.

Note: In Manual Mode, you must fill in the Remote IP, Remote IP

Network and Remote Gateway IP/FQDN (Remote Gateway IP/FQDN

field cannot be 0.0.0.0.). See Appendix - VPN example.
