Chapter 5 Troubleshooting
Why can’t I connect to Internet?
1. Make sure that such computer has a unique IP
address. If using DHCP through the AP, verify
that each computer is set to “Obtain an IP
Address automatically” and restart the computer.
2. Make sure that the AP’s Ethernet is on. If it is
not, try a different network cable.
Why can’t I access my 802.11g
Wireless LAN AP?
1. Make sure your AP is powered on.
2. Make sure that your computer has a compatible
IP address. Be sure that the IP address used on
your computer is set to the same as the AP. For
example, if the AP is set to 192.168.1.250, change
the IP address of your computer to 192.168.1.15
or another unique IP that corresponds to the
192.168.1.X subnet.
3. Use the Reset Button locates on the rear of the
AP to revert to the default settings.
