16.2 Medical equipment
Please turn off your phone when you close to the electronic medical
equipment, with the express provision for the shutdown of phone (such as
pacemakers, hearing aids and other medical equipment). Most medical
equipment can shield the RF signals of phones, but there are some
electronic devices do not have this feature. If you doubt or can not ensure
whether the medical equipments can shield the RF signals, please consult
your doctor or the medical equipment manufacturers.
16.2.1 Pacemaker
Pacemaker manufacturers recommend that maintain the distance
between your phone and the pacemaker at least about 6 inches (15.3cm),
so as not to interfere the pacemakers with phones.
To persons wearing pacemakers:
When your phone is switched on, please ensure that maintain the
distance between the phone and the pacemaker at least 6 inches (or
15.3cm).
Do not place your phone in a breast pocket.
Please use the ear which is not in the same side with the pacemaker.
