TESTING CLIMATE AND RADIATOR VALVE
01. To test radiator valve move slider to the right side to
turn up the heating. This will open radiator valve so that
fluid can pass in to the radiator.
02. Move slider to the left to lower down heating.
This will close radiator valve so heating fluid cannot
go to the radiator.
Testing the connection
01. Press
for at least 3 seconds until is displayed.
02. Press
until is displayed.
03. Press to make the connection. disappears
when the connection is made.
If no connection can be made, alarm and antenna
symbols flash together.
REMOVING RADIATOR VALVE
To remove the thermostat, insert an appropriate tool in the
hole in the thermostat’s battery chamber and in the hole in
the black ring behind the chamber (see illustration below).
Keeping the tool in position, turn the entire thermostat
anticlockwise until it is com¬pletely unscrewed.
10.4 THERMOSTAT
The HRT4-ZW is a wireless electronic battery powered
room thermostat that uses interoperable two-way RF
mesh networking technology to provide optimum comfort
with close control of the energy used to heat the home
without the need for additional wiring or unsightly cable
runs. HRT4-ZW is a self-contained unit that operates
from 2xAAA batteries, and doesn’t contain any pins or
terminals for external connection. The unit has a push
button dial that can be rotated in either =direction to
control demand temperature or select installer functions,
an LCD, and a set of DIL switches on the rear of the unit
as shown. The LCD has a backlight, which only stays on
briefly after a button press to save power.
PREPARATION Insert two AAA batteries in according
to the orientation shown at the battery locations. When
batteries are inserted unit will power up
