• • • • • • • • • • • Bedien het apparaat niet met een externe timer of een apart afstandbedieningssysteem. WAARSCHUWING: Zonder toezicht koken op een kookplaat met vet of olie kan gevaarlijk zijn en brandgevaar opleveren. Probeer brand NOOIT met water te blussen, maar schakel in plaats daarvan het apparaat uit en bedek de vlam bijv. met een deksel of blusdeken. LET OP: Er dient toezicht te worden gehouden op het bereidingsproces. Een kort bereidingsproces moet onder constant toezicht staan.
• • • • • • • • • Installeer en gebruik geen beschadigd apparaat. Volg de installatie-instructies op die zijn meegeleverd met het apparaat. Houd de minimumafstand naar andere apparaten en units in acht. Pas altijd op bij verplaatsing van het apparaat, want het is zwaar. Gebruik altijd veiligheidshandschoenen en gesloten schoeisel. Dicht de oppervlakken af met kit om te voorkomen dat ze gaan opzetten door vocht. Bescherm de bodem van het apparaat tegen stoom en vocht.
• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Zorg ervoor dat de ventilatieopeningen niet geblokkeerd zijn. Laat het apparaat tijdens het gebruik niet onbeheerd achter. Zet de kookzone op "uit" na elk gebruik. Leg geen bestek of pannendeksels op de kookzones. Deze kunnen heet worden. Bedien het apparaat niet met natte handen of als het contact maakt met water. Het apparaat mag niet worden gebruikt als werkblad of aanrecht. Als u eten in de hete olie doet, kan het spatten.
Voor montage Voordat u de kookplaat installeert, dient u de onderstaande informatie van het typeplaatje te noteren. Het typeplaatje bevindt zich onderop de kookplaat. De volgende instructies over de installatie en het onderhoud moeten opgevolgd worden door vakkundig personeel in overeenstemming met de geldende voorschriften.

Branderoverzicht WAARSCHUWING! Ga voorzichtig te werk bij het gebruik van branders (open vuur) in de keuken. De fabrikant kan niet aansprakelijk gesteld worden in geval van onjuist gebruik van de vlam. 1. A 2. B 3. C D Druk de bedieningsknop helemaal in en draai de knop linksom naar de maximale gastoevoerstand ( ). Houd de bedieningsknop ongeveer 10 seconden ingedrukt. Het thermokoppel kan dan opwarmen. Als u dat niet doet, wordt de gastoevoer onderbroken. Stel de vlam af zodra deze regelmatig brandt.
Aanwijzingen en tips WAARSCHUWING! Raadpleeg de hoofdstukken Veiligheid. Let op! Zorg dat de potten zich in het midden van de brander bevinden, voor een maximum aan stabiliteit en lager gasverbruik. Kookgerei Let op! Gebruik geen gietijzeren pannen, grillstenen, aardewerk of grillplaten op gasbranders. Het roestvrij staal kan beschadigen als het te heet wordt. Diameter van het kookgerei Gebruiken alleen kookgerei met een bodemdiameter die geschikt is voor de afmeting van de plaat.
4. Om ervoor te zorgen dat de brander goed werkt, moeten de armen van de pannendrager in het midden van de brander worden geplaatst. • metaalachtig glanzende verkleuringen. Reinig de kookplaat met een vochtige doek en een beetje nietschurend reinigingsmiddel. Droog de kookplaat na reiniging af met een zachte doek. Was de geëmailleerde delen, deksel en kroon met een warm sopje en laat ze goed drogen alvorens ze terug te plaatsen.
Als u het probleem niet kunt oplossen... vakhandelaar in rekening gebracht, zelfs tijdens de garantieperiode. De instructies over het service center en de garantiebepalingen vindt u in het garantieboekje. Als u niet zelf het probleem kunt verhelpen, neem dan contact op met uw verkoper of de serviceafdeling. Zie voor deze gegevens het typeplaatje. Verzeker u ervan dat u de kookplaat correct gebruikt heeft.

The appliance must be earthed. Before carrying out any operation make sure that the appliance is disconnected from the power supply. Make sure that the electrical information on the rating plate agrees with the power supply. If not, contact an electrician. Make sure the appliance is installed correctly.

Make sure the flame does not go out when you quickly turn the knob from the maximum to the minimum position. Use only the accessories supplied with the appliance. Do not install a flame diffuser on the burner. The use of a gas cooking appliance results in the production of heat and moisture.
You can find this plate in the package supplied with the appliance. If the supply gas pressure is changeable or different from the necessary pressure, you must fit an applicable pressure adjuster on the gas supply pipe. Ignition of the burner Caution! In the absence of electricity you can ignite the burner without electrical device; in this case approach the burner with a flame, turn the control knob counter-clockwise to maximum gas supply position and push it down. Keep the control knob pushed for equal or less than 10 seconds to let the thermocouple warm up. Always light the burner before you put on the cookware. Warning! Be very careful when you use open fire in the kitchen environment.
Care and cleaning Warning! Refer to Safety chapters. 3. 4. General information • • • Clean the hob after each use. Always use cookware with clean bottom. Scratches or dark stains on the surface have no effect on how the hob operates. • Use a special cleaner applicable for the surface of the hob. Stainless steel • • • • Wash stainless steel parts with water, and then dry them with a soft cloth.
What to do if... Problem Possible cause There is no spark when you try to activate the spark generator. The hob is not connected to an electrical supply or it is connected incorrectly. Check if the hob is correctly connected to the electrical supply. The fuse is blown. Make sure that the fuse is the cause of the malfunction. If the fuse is blown again and again, contact a qualified electrician. Burner cap and crown are placed incorrectly. Place the burner cap and crown correctly.

Energy saving • • • • • • • Before use, make sure that the burners and pan supports are assembled correctly. Use cookware with diameters applicable to the size of burners. Center the pot on the burner. When you heat up water, use only the amount you need. If it is possible, always put the lids on the cookware. When the liquid starts to boil, turn down the flame to barely simmer the liquid. If it is possible, use a pressure cooker. Refer to its user manual.
