Dear Customer, Cher Client We thank you very much for choosing our products. The instructions and advice included in this booklet are given to safeguard your safety and to use this appliance correctly. Be so kind as to keep this booklet. It will be useful to clear any doubt concerning its operation. This appliance must be only assigned to the use for which it has been realized, that is for cooking food. Any other use has to be considered incorrect and therefore dangerous.
FIRST USE THE OVEN It is advised to follow these instructions: – Clean the interior of the oven with cloth soaked in water and detergent (neutral), then dry carefully. – Insert shelves and tray. – Switch on the empty oven on max to eliminate grease tracks from the heating elements. PREMIERE UTILISATION DU FOUR Il est conseillé de suivre ces instructions: – Nettoyer l’intérieur du four avec un chiffon imprégné d’eau et de détergent neutre. Puis essuyer parfaitement.

The suitable burner must be chosen according to the diameter and the capacity used. As an indication, the burners and the pots must be used in the following way: La position des brûleurs est marquée sur le tableau de bord. 4 - GAS OVEN Attention: the oven door becomes very hot during operation. Keep children away. A 8 Attention: la porte est chaude pendant le fonctionnement. Eloigner les jeunes enfants. GENERAL FEATURES CARACTERISTIQUES GENERALES The oven is furnished completely clean; it is advisable, however, upon first use, to turn the oven on to the maximum position to eliminate possible traces of grease from the oven burner. La cuisinière est livrée parfaitement propre.
For the consumer’s information, the following table gives some dishes with their relative cooking temperatures in °C. The cooking time varies with the quantity. A titre informatif, indiquons dans le table suivant quelques températures de cuisson en °C. Le temps (en minutes) et température varient selon la fonction choisie, la quantité et les dimensions des pièces.
GENERAL ADVICE CONSEILS GENERAUX * When the appliance is not being used, it is advisable to keep the gas tap closed. From time to time check to make sure that the flexible tube that connects the gas line or the gas cylinder to the appliance is in perfect condition and eventually substitute it, if it shows signs of wearing or damage. * Lorsqu’on n’emploie pas l’appareil, il est préférable de fermer le robinet d’arrivée du gaz.
9 - CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE It is advisable to clean when the appliance is cold. Especially when cleaning the enamelled parts. Avoid leaving alcaline or acidic substances (lemon juice, vinegar, etc.) on the surfaces. Avoid using cleaning products with a chlorine or acidic base, and abrasive products. 9 - NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN Il est conseillé d’opérer quand I’appareil est froid, surtout pour nettoyer les partiés émaillées.

Failure to observe this rule will invalidate the warranty. – The surfaces of adjacent furniture and walls must be capable of withstanding temperatures in excess of 75˚C.
Gas oven models afford class ‘1’ protection against overheating of surrounding surfaces. A space of at least 2cm must be left between the cooker and any adjacent furniture, which must not exceed the height of the cooktop (fig. 9.2). GAS COOKERS CUISINIERES A GAZ CHOOSING SUITABLE SURROUNDINGS LOCAL D’INSTALLATION In the room chosen to accommodate the gas appliance, there must be an adequate natural draft to allow combustion of the gas. La pièce dans laquelle l’appareil à gaz est installé doit avoir un apport d’air nécessaire à la combustion du gaz. The natural draft must be produced directly by one or more vents made in the external walls and providing a total opening of at least 100 cm2.
DISCHARGING PRODUCTS OF COMBUSTION EVACUATION DES PRODUITS DE LA COMBUSTION Extractor hoods connected directly to the outside must be provided, to allow the products of combustion of the gas appliance to be discharged (fig. 9.2). If this is not possible, an electric fan may be used, attached to the external wall or the window; the fan should have a capacity to circulate air at an hourly rate of 35 times the total volume of the kitchen (fig. 9.3).

The fitting (fig. 11.2) is made up of: – 1 elbow fitting “A” – 1 adapter “C” for natural gas – 1 adapter “B” for L.P.G. – gasket “D Le groupe raccordement (fig. 11.2 se compose de: – 1 coude “A” fixé sur la rampe – 1 embout-réduction “B” pour gaz liquefié, à visser sur l’embout coudé.

Operations to be followed for the replacement of the injectors (worth for all kind of gases): – Litf the cooking top (fig. 11.3) – Fully raise the adjusting air tube A (fig. 11.4) in order to easily reach the injector.

3 - REGULATING OF THE PRIMARY AIR OF THE TOP BURNERS This operation is to be performed bearing in mind that the flame may be as specified below, independently of the kind of gas.

En passant d’un type de gaz à un autre, il faut veiller à ce que le débit réduit soit correct.
Fig. 11.6 Fig. 11.7 22 5 - REPLACEMENT OF THE OVEN BURNER INJECTOR 5 - REMPLACEMENT DE L’INJECTEUR DU BRULEUR DU FOUR According to the type of gas, the oven injectors are to be similarly replaced, as stated on the table for the choice of the injectors, operating as follows: – remove the oven bottom – unscrew the burner fixing screw (Fig. 11.6) – slip the burner itself from the oven (Fig. 11.7) – remove the injector from the connection and replace it with the proper one.
