The operation and the function of the ring switches is described in the Operating Instructions for the combination appliance. 1 Warning: The hotplates still remain hot for a time even after being switched off. There is a risk of burns. Let the hotplates cool down.
Tips on Cooking and Frying Cookware You can recognise good cookware from the bottoms of the pans. The bottom should be as thick and flat as possible. Energy saving 2 2 2 2 16 Always place cookware on the hotplate before it is switched on. If possible, always place lids on the pans. Switch hotplates off before the end of the cooking time, to take advantage of residual heat. Bottom of pans and hotplate should be the same size.
Cleaning and Care 1 Take care! Risk of burns from residual heat. Let the appliance cool down. Cleaning the appliance after each use 1. Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth and a little washing up liquid. 2. Rub the appliance dry using a clean cloth. Removing deposits 1. Remove heavy deposits from the hotplates using fine scouring powder or a scouring pad. 2. Wipe off residues with a damp cloth. 3. Then heat the hotplate to a low temperature and leave to dry. 4.
