Deck & Siding Semi-
Transparent Stain on an inconspicuous area
to determine the nal color. Spray application
is acceptable, but application with a synthetic
brush or roller with a small nap cover is
recommended. If sprayed, the coating should be
dry brushed or back rolled for color uniformity.
Always apply in the direction of the wood grain.
Apply one coat. More is not better. The stain
needs to penetrate the wood, not build up on
the surface. Brush out any puddles before clean
up. On vertical surface, start at the tip on several
boards and apply continuously across to a break
at a door, window, or corner. Be sure to maintain
a wet edge.
MAINTENANCE
Reapply at 2-4 year intervals for vertical surfaces
and 1-3 years on horizontal surfaces. Areas with
harsh exposure to the sun, weather, or foot
trac will show wear more quickly than other
