Overview
Both the DEVA IV and DEVA V are identical in operation. There are some slight differences between the
two and these are called out in this manual. For this reason, the DEVA V is used throughout the manual
when describing a function or feature. Unless noted, this also applies to the DEVA IV recorder.
DEVA IV, DEVA V Differences

Maximum Channels 8 10 The DEVA V has only 8
physical inputs. However,
two additional channels are
available for mix-downs.

Continuing in the tradition of the DEVA II recorder and the Cameo mixer, the DEVA V combines incredible
capabilities with ease of use and a short learning curve. It is easy to setup and adapt to the changing envi-
ronment around you. Whether it is an on the cart’s record
er for motion picture use, an ’over the shoulder’
recorder for a documentary, or a master recorder for a live orchestral concert, the DEVA V enables you to
record up to 10 audio tracks with 24 bit resolution at sampling rates up to 192 kHz.
Note: The DEVA
IV allows 8 audio tracks with 24-bit resolution at a sampling rate up to 96 kHz.
