Timecode Setup
TC Mode
FREE-RUNTimecode runs continuously.
REC-RUNTimecode will start to run when you begin to record.
CJAMTimecode and user-bits are continuously updated from a connected external source.
CJAM TC – Timecode only is continuously updated from a connected source
CJAM UB – User-bits only are continuously updated from a connected source
TC Frame Rate
This sets Nomad’s timecode frame-rate.
Nomad supports all standard SMPTE frame-rates:
23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 29.97DF, 30, 30DF
TC Displayed
This sets what timecode that Nomad displays
GENERATORTC displayed is from Nomad’s internal TC generator.
CARD TC displayed from the file being recorded or played back.
While in Playback TC at the current point in the Take.
While in Record TC being recorded during the Take, as it happens.
TC Output
This sets what timecode is sent from the TC output connector. If you need to send running timecode to another
device, set it to Generator. If you want to control another timecode device with an Auto-Load capability, set it to
Card.
GENERATOR TC comes from the internal generator.
CARDTC comes from the file being recorded or played-back.
While in Playback TC at the current point in the Take.
While in Record TC being recorded during the Take, as it happens.
Increment UBits
If set to ON the user-bits will increment with each take.
UB Date Style
This is used to set how the date is displayed within the user-bits if you chose to assign the date as the user-bits. You
can choose European or US styles
