ZaxNet Quick Start Guide for QRX Audio Receive Operations
1. In Nomad:
a. In the Main Menu, select ZaxNet Setup.
b. Scroll down and select Input Configure. Make sure that the input configure is set to 8 or higher. Press the Back
key and return to the ZaxNet Setup menu.
c. Power cycle your Nomad
d. Return to the ZaxNet Setup menu and select IFB Mode. Make sure that it is set to RX or TX+RX.
e. Scroll down to RX Channels and select Freq1 and choose which frequency you’d like to receive.
Tip: There are several smart phone apps, which will scan what Wi-Fi frequencies are being used in your area. This
can be useful in selecting an open frequency.
2. In the QRX:
a. Go to the IFB Extended Menu.
b. Set the IFB TX frequency to the same frequency that you set Nomad to.
c. Insure the IFB Mode is set to TX.
3. In Nomad
a. Go to the Headphone-1 Setup matrix and put a cross point in the corresponding ZNET matrix. To listen to Freq1
you will select the fist box, Freq2 the second, etc.
b. Now when you select that HP matrix you will be monitoring the audio being sent from that QRX. If you have your
IFB Mode set to TX+RX, Nomad will temporarily stop transmitting over ZaxNet and receive signal while you are in
the HP select. When you leave that HP select, Nomad will start transmitting again.
