The Warnin gs setup menu allows for customization of the Nomad warning
sys t em . Wa rni ngs a prov ide d for battery and external power level as well as
recording time av ailability. Inte rn al battery warning should be set to 7.0 volts for
Nickle metal hydride batteries a nd 8.0 volts for lithium batter ies . External
battery thresho ld shou ld be set to 10 volts.
The batte ry threshold setti ngs select the voltage level at whi ch the battery
warnings start to appea r. Th is setting al so changes the sca lin g of the batt ery
m
ete r graph ic to adjust for battery chemistry bas ed on the dead voltage setting.

The input levels menu controls the levels for the slate mic inputs and the return
level inputs. Th e return level inputs will effect inputs 7,8,9 and 10. Retu rn 1-4

ese inputs are continuously adjustable to accept a li ne input level of +4dBu to
-15 d8u. Since these inputs can als o be used as line level inpu ts the return level
adjustme nt provides a ca libration for the input level of the Rl-R4 inputs. (These
