T he c om and sta te keys are used to enable th e inte rnal or exte rn al s la te
microphone. Audio is routed to the se lected destinations by the bus routing
men
us. Th ese keys will ro ut e the audio fro m th e slate microphone to th e
selected destinations. Sl at e cross points are indicated with an "S" at the top of
the routing menu column. C om cross points are indicated with a "( " at the top of
the r
ou ti ng menu colum n. The example shows the sl ate routed to o utp uts 1·2
and the com routed to outputs 5·6.
Holding down the menu knob and pressing the Com and slate keys will select
di ff erent home menus. If the menu knob is n ot held down slate or com au d io w ill
be r ou ted to there destinations when the keys are pressed. Se lection of internal
or extern
al slate audio is d es ignated in the mode menu. The sl ate microphone
gain
is co nt rolled in the ENG se tup men u.
If the ex ternal slate input is used, balanced dynamic microphon es as welJ as S.O V
powered two wire microphones are supported.
