Extended Menu
Navigating the Extended Menu
Press and hold the MENU key while powering up the unit.
Pressing the MENU key will advance you to the next menu item.
Exiting the Extended Menu
Cycle the power
Or
Hold down the MENU key to get back to the EXTENDED MENU home page then press the INC key.
High Pass Filter
HIGH PASS: OFF
This menu allows you to adjust the frequency for the high pass filter.
The adjustment range is 30Hz to 220Hz in 10Hz increments.
Limiter
LIMITER: OFF
LIMITER: -10db
FROM FULL SCALE
This menu enables/disables and adjusts the limiter. The limiter is pre analog to digital converter.
Range: -2dB to -30dB in 1dB increments.
When the input signal is too high the audio can clip and results in distortion and popping. The limiter
can be used to prevent clipping.
The limiter effectively prevents the audio signal from becoming any larger than the limiter setting.
Recording Format
RECORDFORMAT:
MONO(US)
This menu selects the recording format.
MONO (US) - This is the setting that you should be using if you have a mono ZFR.
EUROPEAN - This setting is in the software for cross compatibility with older Zaxcom
wireless and will not be needed in the ZFR.
STEREO - This setting will only be used if you have a stereo ZFR.
Signal level when the limiter will kick in.
