ZaxNet IFB Receive Frequency
This is where you set the ZaxNet receive frequency.
This frequency:
Is what the ZFR will receive its timecode and ZaxNet commands on.
Will allow the ZFR to receive wireless ZaxNet TC and commands as long as this frequency matches
the frequency of the corresponding ZaxNet transmitter - which can be a Nomad or IFB100 or 200.
Will allow the ZFR to receive TC from a TRX transmitter or a ZFR recorder as long as this frequency
matches the frequency of the corresponding transmitter.
ZaxNet IFB Transmit frequency
This is where you set the ZaxNet transmit frequency. This is the frequency that the ZFR will
broadcast timecode and ZaxNet audio on.
On this Frequency the ZFR will:
Broadcast timecode so other ZFR recorders or TRX transmitters can receive and lock its
internal timecode to it.
Allow you to monitor the ZFR Audio on a Zaxcom ERX receiver.
Send an Audio / TC scratch track to a Camera or some other device via an ERX.
When the ZFR is receiving a ZaxNet signal you will also see:
ZaxNet signal is being received
A signal strength meter
Signal strength
