If Startup Assist does not automatically display, it can be invoked at any time from
the upper-left of the Basic Configuration screen.
6. Set the following Startup Assist parameters:
Virtual Controller - Select this option to set this Access Point as a Virtual
Controller capable of managing and provisioning up to 64 Access Points of the
same model. Those Access Points managed by this Virtual Controller list this
Note Startup Assist automatically sets the radio transmit power and enables
Auto Channel selection. The Access Point's name is automatically assigned
based on the Access Point type and the last three octets of the device's
hardcoded MAC address. WLAN 1 and WLAN 2 both use VLAN ID 2200 by
default. To adjust any of these parameters, edit the appropriate configuration
screen directly. Refer to the Access Point reference material available on
Zebra Support for configuring the Access Point beyond the scope of the
minimal WiNG Assist configuration described in this guide. For more
