3. Upon successful decode, the scanner beeps and the LED flashes green. (For more information about
beeper and LED definitions, <bl_blue><em_Emphasis>Beeper and LED Indications on page 7-19).

Aiming with Digital Scanner
When scanning, the digital scanner projects a green LED dot which allows positioning the barcode within
its field of view. See <bl_blue><em_Emphasis>Decode Ranges on page 7-26 for the proper distance to
achieve between the digital scanner and a barcode.

If necessary, the digital scanner turns on its green illumination LEDs to illuminate the target barcode.
To scan a barcode, center the symbol.
