Quick Start Guide Introduction 3 D ra ft v 16 The CS6080 is a cordless barcode scanner in a brick shape that serves the retail market as a point of sale scanner as well as the healthcare market as a companion scanner. The CS6080 features include inductive touch user buttons, Qi standard wireless charging, BT 5.0 class1/class2, NFC reader/tag emulation capability, and NFC tap to pair for Android and Windows devices.

Quick Start Guide 5 Charging Inserting the Battery 1. Insert the battery into the scanner. 2. Press the battery into the scanner until the battery snaps into place. Removing the Battery D ra ft v 16 To remove the battery, press the release and pull the battery away from the scanner.
CS6080 Scanner Powering via USB Accessory D ra ft v 16 1. Remove the battery, if not already removed. 2. Insert the USB accessory into the scanner. 3. Connect the other end of the USB accessory to a USB port on the host PC, or to a USB power adapter plugged into an AC outlet.

Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a USB port on the host PC, or to a USB power adapter plugged into an AC outlet. 3. Insert the CS6080 into a scanner slot to begin charging. Healthcare D ra The CS6080 begins charging. The charge status LEDs light to indicate progress. Refer to the CS6080 Scanner Product Reference Guide for information on accessories.
CS6080 Scanner Charging via Charging Pad 1. Follow the third party instructions for connecting your charging pad to power. 2. Place the scanner on the charging pad with the buttons facing up. The battery charging indicator LED on the scanner lights to show the charging status. D ra ft v 16 Note The CS6080 is only compatible with Qi type charging pads.
Quick Start Guide 9 Charging Spare Batteries 1. Connect the retail charging cradle to one end of a USB-C cable. 2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a USB port on the host PC, or to a USB power adapter plugged into an AC outlet. 3. Remove the spare battery slot cap. 4. Insert the battery into the spare battery slot to begin charging. D ra ft v 16 The charge LED on the cradle lights to show the charging status.

CS6080 Scanner Troubleshooting Problem Possible Solutions Imager comes on, but scanner does not decode the bar code. Ensure the scanner is programmed to read the type of bar code being scanned. Ensure the symbol is not defaced. Scan other bar codes of the same bar code type. Move scanner closer to or further from bar code. Charge the battery. See Charging on page 5. Scanner does not fully charge. Ensure the scanner is connected to a powered USB hub (5V, 500mA max). Bluetooth LED turns off.
