Note: Setting a region is useful to eliminate false positive motion events. These include areas such as
trees or other areas that are prone to create false positive events.
Once your configuration has been successfully saved, tap on the back ( ) icon to return to the
previous menu.
4.5.2.4. Email Notifications
This toggle switch allows the user to authorize email notifications of motion detection events to be sent
to an email address. Enable this toggle switch, along with the Motion Detection Snapshots toggle
switch, to begin receiving snapshots.
4.5.2.5. Motion Detection Snapshots
This toggle switch allows the user to enable snapshots of motion detection events to be sent to an
email address. This toggle switch must be enabled along with the Email Notifications toggle switch to
begin receiving snapshots.
4.6. Storage Status
This menu allows users to check the current status of their storage options. Storage options for Zencam
products include both Zencam Cloud and/or microSD card.
4.6.1. Cloud Storage
This menu allows users quick access to setup their Zencam Cloud account. For more information about
how to setup your Zencam Cloud account, please refer to section 4.5, Cloud Activation Setup.
4.6.2. SD Card Storage
This menu allows users to view the status of an inserted microSD card. If a microSD card is inserted into
the camera and working, the SD Card Storage field will say Enabled. If there is no microSD card detected
by the camera, the SD Card Storage field will say Disabled. This menu also provides the ability to format
the microSD card if necessary. To format a microSD card, tap on the Format Storage Device button. This
will format and erase all data stored on the microSD card.
Note: Please do not use a microSD card that exceeds 32GB. Anything above 32GB could provide data
loss or other issues related to playback.
