USB/SD CARD OPERATION
USING SD-CARD
1. Open the cover  ap, insert an SD-Card
into the corresponding slot. The unit then
switches to card mode, and automatically
starts to play back the  les found on the
card.
2. To remove the card, you should  rst
select another source, in order to avoid
damaging the card, press the card
slightly, and remove the card after it has
popped out, then dose the cap.
3. Select a different source before you
remove the inserted USB/SD data
carriers, to avoid damaging it's  le
system.
USING USB DEVICE
1. Open the cover  ap, insert a USB device
into the USB connector.
After connecting a USB device, the unit
will read and play the  les automatically.
2. To remove the USB device, you
should  rst select another source (safe
removal).
 USB/SD-CARD NOTES:
USB functions and features concerning MP3
music play.
1. Supported  le systems FAT12, FAT16,
FAT32.
2. Up to 200 directories and 500  les can
be displayed and played back from the
USB-data carrier.
3. Descriptors of  les, directories and titles
shouldn't exceed 32 characters/bytes,
cause only the  rst 32 chars will be
displayed.
4. ID tag version 2.0 is supported. However,
the length of title, artist and album
descriptor is limited to 32 chars/bytes.
5. The device supports USB 1.1 and USB
2.0 standards at the speed of USB 1.1.

■ Due to varying speci cations of commer-
cially available USB-data carriers it
cannot be guaranteed, that each and
every USB-stick will be supported.
